Select Sole and Chinook join forces
Vancouver-based technology company Select Sole has entered into an exclusive partnership with footwear sourcing solutions provider Chinook Trading Company.
Select Sole will grant Chinook exclusive rights to manufacture, source and wholesale boot wear incorporating its 'On Demand Traction System' (ODTS) with retailers in Canada. Chinook has also agreed to assist in building relationships with domestic brands and manufacturers. The terms of the agreement were not released.
Chinook trading president and CEO, Rob Scofield, said: "We've seen a lot of new technologies over the years but so few ever live up to the hype. We believe in this technology and it's a natural fit for the categories we specialise in."
Finished Chinook footwear with Select Sole technology is expected to be on sale in Canada for the 2009 autumn season.
