Johnston & Murphy debuts women's line
Nashville-based men's footwear brand Johnston & Murphy has turned its attention to women’s shoes and accessories. It has now launched its inaugural women’s collection.
The autumn line is approximately 70% footwear, 20% handbags and 10% premium accessories.
"Over the past several years, Johnston & Murphy has been building great momentum with successful expansions into new categories for our men's business," said president, Jonathan Caplan. "We feel the time is right to utilise that momentum for our women's venture."
Johnston & Murphy is a division of Genesco Inc., a footwear retailer with 113 retail stores and 43 factory stores.
