New Heelys shoes for back-to-school season

07/08/2008

Wheeled footwear company Heelys, Inc. has launched new models for the back-to-school season.

It features a range of colours including black, grey, white, red and pink. New styles for boys include the Camo Bones, featuring a wrap-around skull and crossbones digital camouflage pattern, and the Slash, a rock-and-roll inspired shoe featuring a rocker design with a synthetic Nubuck upper, graffiti screen-print and an embroidered skull patch. The Ninja will be carried over from last season for autumn. It has a rugged, skate-inspired look and features high-quality synthetic suede as well as a leather upper with a mega wheel attached to ABEC 5-608 bearings.

New shoes for girls include the Cherry Blossom, which features a dual-coloured flower design embroidered onto a synthetic leather upper, the Ivy, which has a multi-coloured ivy-floral pattern that spreads from the quarter to the patent leather heel and the Sheer, which offers a stylised girl skull with a pink bow and graffiti print.

The wheels can be removed so that students can wear Heelys in and out of school.
