No, it’s both. Munich-based label Nat-2 has launched a new shoe which can transform from one type to another at the pull of a zip. The upper – which in somewhat reminiscent of a pair of canvas Converse shoes – can be unzipped to reveal a stylish sandal. If there is an unexpected change in weather, or the wearer simply wants to change their look, the shoe can be transferred to its sandal form, or vice versa quickly and easily.

Furthermore, the shoes come in 20 designs and the canvas uppers can be mixed and matched with the various different soles on offer. So should customers by two pairs, they are effectively acquiring four pairs of shoes.
