Exports pass $1 billion

During the first half of the year, the Chinese port of Wenzhou exported footwear worth $1.2 billion, according to customs authorities there.

Compared to the first six months of last year, this represents an increase of 14.4% in the value of the shoes passing through the port, although the volume of pairs decreased slightly (by 1%) to 267.5 million pairs.
