Harrington hails help of Hi-Tec shoes

Open Champion, Padraig Harrington, has praised his footwear supplier Hi-Tec for its help in his successful retention of the title on July 20.
Wearing Hi-Tec CDT Super Power shoes, the Irish golfer finished four shots clear in this year’s edition of the oldest golf event on the calendar.
He said afterwards: “It’s no coincidence that I was wearing the world’s best golf shoes in winning back-to-back Open Championships. In some of the most testing conditions ever, Hi-Tec’s CDT technology gave me amazing balance and stability.”
The footwear brand said it was delighted for Padraig Harrington and paid tribute to the contribution he had made to developing the shoes, whose features include premium full grain leather upper, soft leather lining, Sympatex HIGH2OUT membrane, a TPU saddle wrap, TPU reinforcement fingers on vamp, a one-year waterproof guarantee (2 years in the US) and special CDT cleats.
