Crocs to launch new lifestyle range

Footwear brand Crocs is to offer a new sporty lifestyle footwear range for spring-summer 2009. It will also offer a complementary apparel collection, specifically targeting the European market, comprising summer t-shirts, hoodies and accessories for men, women and children.

The new shoe collection has a more male-oriented focus that is underpinned by a new sneaker, a marine-inspired loafer and a new ‘recovery’ footwear programme dedicated to wearing after taking part in sport. It will introduce the Axis, which combines the benefits of Croslite with a stylish upper. It is ultra lightweight and comes in four different colourways. Other highlights within the men’s collection include the Cove, Tideline Canvas and the Dekum loafer, which combines canvas and Croslite for a casual shoe style with front lacing.  

For women, the company is launching the Captivia, a beach-style flip flop. It features a soft padded footbed inspired by contemporary eastern design. The colours offered are white/berry, white/citrus, white/jade and black/black. The Capri suede, Olivia and Patricia are also new additions to the women’s range.

The children’s range includes the Gabby model for girls, a mini version of the women’s Olivia, featuring pump styling with a sling back heel strap. A Wave flip flop and Rally sneaker, a mini version of the men’s Axis sneaker is available for both girls and boys. The children’s footwear collection has also been expanded to include popular TV programmes such as High School Musical, Bob the Builder, Hannah Montana and Scooby Doo.
