Reebok announces ambitious Indian expansion

Athletic footwear brand Reebok has said it will embark on a major expansion in India which will see the company open one store almost every two days, taking the total number of stores it runs there to 850 by the end of the current financial year.
Reebok India managing director, Suvhinder Singh, said the company, which currently has 620 stores across the country, is going for a substantial increase in its retail presence because it believes this will allow it to boost sales by 30% a year.
