Lowa incorporates new Vibram sole

The latest Vibram creation for sandals, its new Cougar sole, has gone into the Mojito model from Lowa. Vibram describes its new offering as an ideal solution for high-tech sandals providing both safety and stability.
The Mojito sandal is designed for the outdoors and travel and is comfortable enough to wear even on long hikes.
The straps securely maintain the footwear, which prevents rubbing and helps maintain comfort, but the other main contributory factor to comfort, Vibram insists, is the Cougar sole.
Made from the company's Trek rubber, the Cougar sole offers pressure and grip at the front of the foot while the trim heel ensures stability. The EVA thermoset wedge has a shock-absorbing internal layer and a high-density outer layer for protection.
