Terra factory to close in six weeks

Terra Footwear has announced that it will close the doors on its production plant in Markdale, Ontario, for the last time at the end of June.
Parent company, Kodiak Group Holdings, began a restructuring process for Terra in December and 100 jobs have already gone. The June closure will mean the end of the 45 jobs that remain there.
Another production facility at Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, will stay open. The company said it could not sustain both locations.
