OutDoor industry award competition launches

Design students and established corporate design teams have been invited to compete head to head by submitting entries for a new 'Concepts' competition, which will take place for the first time as part of the awards at the OutDoor event at Friedrichshafen.
The event this year will take place from July 17 to 20 and competition entries must be in by June 6
The organisers are looking for entries for the following categories: footwear, apparel, backpacks/travel luggage, mountain-climbing equipment, camping equipment, sleeping bags, water sports and accessories.
'Concepts' is a new category for first-time designers, companies and students who will be able to participate with products and studies that have not yet gone beyond the draft stage. The participation for students is free of charge.
