Zanotti opens new store in UAE

High-end Italian leather footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti has opened his first wholly owned retail outlet in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The store opened at the Emirates Towers complex in Dubai with Mr Zanotti himself presiding over the opening ceremony. He said it was important for him to see his shoes as they would be presented to the public and to meet the women who buy his products.
He said he believed his brand needed to have a presence in the UAE because the region's economy was booming, thanks to construction projects, retail and other business developments. Another Zanotti store will open soon in Bahrain and he said there was the possibility of further expansion in the region.
