Candian footballers to wear Aussie Soles
Casual footwear provider Aussie Soles Group Inc. has entered into an official sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Football League (CFL) team BC Lions.
“Their line of unique footwear will be a perfect fit for CFL fans," said Lions' vice president, business, George Chayka. BC Lions branded Aussie Soles shoes, including the snUggs model, which has been created for cold weather wear, will be available at the start of the 2008 season.
BC Lions are six-time CFL Champions and are led by team president and CEO Bob Ackles, who joined the team as a 15-year-old water boy in 1953.
Aussie Soles develops hard sole casual footwear that uses technically advanced closed cell polymer foam, Auslite, which is soft, supportive, slip resistant and anti bacterial. The hard sole concept is available in a variety of colors and styles. Its footwear lines inclued snUggs, Starfish and Marine.
