High-end footwear designer Oliver Sweeney has confirmed that in-store environments for his retail outlets that specialist partner Thames Contracts has come up with his stores in Kings Road and Bond Street in London will be the theme he uses as he expands his retail network all over the United Kingdom.

With celebrity clients that include David Beckham, Brad Pitt and Will Smith, Oliver Sweeney places a strong emphasis on creating a perfect in store environment for its customers.

Thames Contracts’ managing director Martin Morris has commented: “The idea behind the theme is to create a highly visual and pleasing customer experience and clearly distinguish the products by placing them in an environment with contrasting characteristics.

“The design includes elements such as a special, distressed stainless steel finish to the shelving and display units, which provides an interesting stage for Oliver Sweeney’s ranges of soft, organic leather shoes and accessories. All our concepts are exclusive to individual clients, with whom we work very closely to find eye-catching, long term design solutions that will work in synergy with their other business goals.”

Oliver Sweeney’s general retail manager, Ken Tatham has said in response:

“This design has become the hallmark of Oliver Sweeney’s retail interiors. We have had excellent feedback and feel that it plays an important role in the image and style that makes Oliver Sweeney attractive to its clientele. We are looking forward to seeing the concept flourish even further as we continue to expand in the  UK.”
