There will be an unusual addition to the Fimec exhibition in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, next week.
For the first time, member companies of the Brazilian Association of Footwear Component Manufacturers (Assintecal) will offer a demonstration of the processes involved in making quality, leather made-to-measure shoes on the exhibition floor.
A number of lucky visitors will be chosen to be measured for shoes that will be made on site to their specifications. Assintecal wants to raise awareness of the value to customers of personalising the look and feel of the footwear they buy.
