Leather and footwear testing centre SATRA is to present a series of one-day seminars in three locations in China, each one covering leather finishing, slip resistance, comfort and fitting, and sole-bonding.
The seminars will take place on June 23, 25 and 27, starting at the Royal Lagoon Hotel, Dongguan, continuing at the Holiday Inn, Zhuhai, before finishing up at the Yeohwa Hotel, Quanzhou.
The organisation says that colours, styles and finishing techniques all affect the quality of leather and how it will perform in the manufacturing process. It wants to help footwear manufacturers improve their awareness of this.
