Texon launch at APLF

Footwear components manufacturer Texon has used the APLF exhibition in Hong Kong as a platform to launch a new high-performance, recyclable stiffener technology that it says is up to 25% lighter and 40% thinner than conventional stiffeners.
The new product, Texon Force, produces a significantly stronger heel counter and box toe puff with less weight, delivering the right amount of structure, shape, comfort and support where it is most required, the company has claimed. It believes the technology will be an ideal solution for performance footwear, especially running and trekking shoes, where weight and gauge reduction are an advantage, without sacrificing stiffness, resilience and support.
