CTC offers seminar on REACH

Leathergoods and footwear testing centre CTC will take part in the programme of seminars on offer in parallel with the APLF exhibition in Hong Kong next week.

As well as a session outlining the work of the Lyon-based centre, one of its senior technicians, Dr Jean-Claude Cannot, will present a talk on the impact REACH legislation is having on manufacturers of finished goods such as leather shoes and leather garments.

Manufacturers and importers are required to gather information on the properties of the chemical substances used in making their products and to provide safety information on these substances.

It will take place on April 1 in room 608 of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (Harbour Road entrance).
