The Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) plans to participate in three international footwear and leather fairs before the end of the year—two in China and one in France. PTA has informed to all its members that PTA (Central) is considering arranging a "National Pavilion" in collaboration with the Government of Pakistan.
This news means government subsidies will be available to PTA's members for their participation at the three events. They are: Shoes & Leather, May 28–31, 2008 at Guangzhou, China; All China Leather Exhibition, September 3–5, 2008 at Shanghai, China; and Le Cuir À Paris, September 23–26, 2008 in Paris, France.
