Brazilian look proves popular

According to the sales director of Brazilian footwear brand Miezko, Eduardo Sorgetz, the latest edition of Modacalzado in Madrd at the start of March was the best yet: “This is mainly because the receptiveness of clients towards Brazilian products,” he said.

At another Brazilian brand, Luz de Lua, Luciano Muniz Dutra, commercial manager, manufactured by partner company Daiby, notes that the company insists on having high-quality leather uppers, with a range of colours and models that are starting to catch the attention of many women in Europe, particularly, at this event, women in Spain. Mr Muniz commented: “We are trying to combine the needs of the Spanish market with the Brazilian look.”
