Chalayan joins Puma

Puma has appointed Cyprus-born designer, artist and film-maker Hussein Chalayan as its new creative director with immediate effect.

London-based Mr Chalayan will now assume responsibility for designing, creating and developing footwear, fashion and accessories collections for the brand.

Puma says his influence will be visible from the autumn 2009 lines onwards.
