Expo Riva Schuh proves positive for Brazilians
The first Expo Riva Middle East show held in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, last week proved very positive for the 13 Brazilian companies that exhibited at the event, generating a possible $8 million-worth of business.
According to a report published by the Arab Brazilian News Agency (ANBA), deals worth $2.08 million were closed at the fair and another $6.3 million in business is forecast to be sealed over the next twelve months.
The Brazilian Association of Shoe Manufacturers (Abicalçados), which organised the Brazilian participation at the show, stated that the group of 13 participating companies made contact with some 371 importers from 21 countries at the fair, from countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Kuwait, India, Iraq and Oman.
The shoe brands exhibiting at the fair included Stéphanie Clássic, Sapatoterapia, Werner, Freeway, Malu Super Confort, Território Nacional, Biondini, Ferrucci, Bibi, Lótus, Wirth, Divietto, Cecconello, Francajel and Masiero.
