New “attainable luxury” brand to launch at WSA

Velvet Angels, a new footwear brand aimed at women between the ages of 21 and 30 will be unveiled at the WSA show, which opens today.

The new collection, which includes more than 40 styles of sandals, flats, dress sandals, dress pumps, low boots and high boots, is described by the brand’s founder and designer Joe Ponce as providing women with “attainable luxury” through offering a high level of quality and workmanship without the usual luxury price tag.

"We saw an opportunity in the marketplace to deliver a unique product, for a specific consumer that seeks ultra-luxury at an attainable price," said Mr Ponce. "There were no other brands delivering the combination of fashion-forward design combined with quality, technology and comfort in this or any other segment above or below our range of price points."
