Huntsman highlights products at PU Tech
With the aim of cementing its position as a significant supplier in India’s rapidly expanding polyurethanes market, American manufacturer Huntsman Polyurethanes will exhibit a range of its latest MDI-based PU products for the footwear, coatings, automotive and construction industries at PU Tech 2008 in Noida India, on March 12-14.
Commenting on the company’s decision to participate at the show, Arun Kumar, regional manager for Indian Subcontinent and Middle East, said: “The market for polyurethane-based solutions is rapidly expanding in India. And as a global leader in the field Huntsman is ideally positioned to help drive growth. Recognising the potential in the Indian market, Huntsman committed significant investment to the area several years ago, creating a solid infrastructure for what was, at the time, a market in its infancy.”
Huntsman already operates a blending plant, technical centre, sales offices and a network of distribution warehouses in India.
