Cherokee launches in Chile
American licensor and manager of numerous footwear, apparel, and accessories brands Cherokee Inc. has launched in Chile with the opening of its first store in the Latin American country.
Commenting on the move into the Chilean retail space, Mark Nawrocki, senior vice president, Brand Development said: “We are proud of our recent launch in Chile as we continue to execute our ‘world brand’ strategy for our Cherokee brand. While we continue to build our brand with our existing partners, we look forward to our upcoming launches over the next 12 months in Peru with Tottus as well as in Israel with Supersol, Brazil with Pao de Acucar, the Middle East with Al Hokair, and India with Arvind Mills.”
As well as owning its own brands, such as Cherokee, Sideout, Carole Little, the company holds licensing agreements with companies such as Target Stores in the USA, Tesco in the UK, Ireland, Europe and Asia, Zellers in Canada, Pick ‘n Pay in South Africa, Fawaz Al Hokair in the Middle East, Grupo Pão de Acucar in Brazil, S.A.C.I. Falabella in Chile and Peru, and Arvind Mills in India.
