The footwear and leather goods industry will present its latest collections for autumn/winter 2008/09 at Modacalzado and Iberpiel early next month (March 7-9) where young designers will be put in the spotlight in the Golden Pencil Competition. Organised by the Footwear Museum of Elda, the competition will showcase the work of a number of young designers.

Meanwhile Modacalzado will also stage the ‘Collections Showcase’ featuring the most important creations presented by exhibitors in the ‘Glamour’ section of the fair as well as a selection of accessories from Iberpiel.

The March show is expected to attract nearly 600 Spanish and foreign exhibitors.
