According to a press statement released by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Thai footwear manufacturer Summit Footwear Co., Ltd., which produces footwear under the Aerosoft brand, is considering setting up a new production facility in Pakistan.

During a meeting in Bangkok with Pakistan’s commercial counsellor Syed Zafar Ali Shah, during which the benefits of investing in Pakistan where outlined, managing director of Summit, Tweepong Kmolvatanavit, is said to have expressed an interest in establishing production facilities in the South East Asian country. Summit already exports its footwear to countries in the region such as India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
