In a move targeted to “bring its locally manufactured high quality system solutions closer to customers in Australia and New Zealand” and allow more flexibility to react to changes in the market, German chemicals company BASF recently opened a new polyurethane system house in Altona, Melbourne.

According to the company, the new facility houses the latest technology in engineering design for polyol blending and a technical and quality control laboratory.
