Danner called up for military order
Danner, a subsidiary of American work and outdoor shoe manufacturer LaCrosse Footwear, Inc., has received a delivery order worth $900,000 as part of the contract awarded to it by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in 2006.
Under the order Danner will supply troops in Afghanistan with 5,730 pairs of its Mountain Cold Weather Boot in several shipments in the first half of this year, which will be manufactured at the company’s ISO 9001 certified facility in Portland, Oregon.
"We are proud to develop performance footwear that serves the United States Marine Corps," said Joseph Schneider, president and chief executive.
