Merrell and Ortholite team up
With the aim of further enhancing the comfort of its performance footwear Wolverine World Wide’s Merrell brand has introduced OrthoLite’s proprietary open cell foam insoles into more than 100 of its footwear styles and plans to further expand the partnership in the near future to include Ortholite products in most of its ranges. The company will also introduce a new line of aftermarket insoles with OrthoLite technology.
The new insoles, which will contain the benefits of traditional OrthoLite foams such as cushioning and moisture wicking, will also be offered in a wider variety of size options to create a better fit.
“When looking for the best way to provide customers with a high-quality insole, the decision to partner with OrthoLite was easy,” said Yahn Lebo, strategic business unit manager for Outventure, Merrell. “No other insole is able to provide the balance of anti-odour properties, breathability, moisture wicking and long-lasting comfort to our customers.”
OrthoLite insoles are already used in a number of big name brand shoes including Asics, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and Timberland.
