LaCrosse presents awards
It’s been a positive couple of weeks for work and outdoor footwear company LaCrosse. Having reported a 10% rise in sales (see www.footwearbiz.com January 30, 2008), the company has now recognised some of the employees who have worked to secure the company’s recent success, by presenting three salesmen awards for 2007.
Ken Blanco of Ahead of the Curve agency received the Overall Salesman of the Year award as “an exceptional contributor” to company’s success and growth for its two brands (LaCrosse and Danner) in 2007 throughout the Washington and Alaska territories. John Ager of Heartland Sales and Associates, Inc., whose territory spans the southern US states of Alabama and Georgia, was named Salesmen of the Year for the Danner brand, while Morris Swarts of S&R Outdoors was awarded Salesmen of the Year for his performance in the Midwestern territories throughout Illinois and Iowa for the LaCrosse brand.
Presenting the awards at the SHOT show in Las Vegas, Matt Johnson, director of sales said: “We wanted to acknowledge the growth and performance for the overall company and individual brands because Ken, John and Morris have successfully driven sales for 2007 and acted as outstanding ambassadors for our company. These awards are a reflection of the high level of teamwork, dedication and the continued commitment to the industry.”
