Royal Elastics stretches its presence to the USA

After having already established ten stores in Asia, Australian sneaker brand Royal Elastics has decided to step into the American market with the opening of its very first US retail store.

Commenting on the new store president David Nichols said: "This is an unedited way to market our brand directly to the consumer. There's a lot of momentum with this brand in other markets, so we take a global view. Our international component is vibrant.”

Established in 1996, Royal Elastics ‘laceless’ sneakers, which close with an elasticised shock cord or Velcro, were inspired by skateboarders who ripped the laces out of their shoes.
