In light of the fact that, according to the Outdoor Industry Association, more than 159 million people over the age of 16 two-thirds of Americans participate in outdoor activities each year, Italian boot maker Zamberlan is hoping to secure a large segment of the market with the launch of its new Vicenza Collection.

Said to be “ideal for any outdoor activity”, from extended backpacking trips, through weekend hikes to everyday activities, the new line is handcrafted in Italy and is said to provide improved comfort and fit. The boots also incorporate leathers with improved water resistance and durability.

"Although the factory is equipped with modern facilities operated by our highly skilled workers, Zamberlan boots can still be considered hand made products a tradition that has continued for over 80 years," said Marco Zamberlan, president.
