According to local media reports, Serbia’s minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic laid the foundation stone for a new footwear factory in Vranje, in the south of the country, last week.

Some €2 million, of which €400,000 was funded by the National Investment Plan, is being invested in the new factory, which will be owned and run by the Sanc footwear company and is set to create approximately 200 jobs.
