American developer of phase-change materials and applications Outlast Technologies, Inc., has signed a new licence agreement with utility and work boot manufacturer Magnum for a new line of firemen’s boots.

Through the deal Magnum will be able to incorporate Outlast phase-change material, along with Sympatex, Dri-Lex and Thinsulate technologies, into its new Magnum Elite Series to regulate temperature within the boot under extreme conditions.

Established by Hi-Tec Sports USA over a decade ago Magnum currently produces over a million pairs of footwear each year.
