First ever FIFA store opened
The global representative body of international soccer, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has opened its first ever official store. Launched in association with its master licensing representative Global Brands Group the store, which is located at Singapore Changi Airport, will stock five unique FIFA-branded apparel lines, FIFA World Cup merchandise and football-themed apparel and footwear by adidas.
Commenting on the new outlet, FIFA’s executive member and AFC president, Mohammed bin Hammam, said: “With today’s world premiere of the FIFA official store, fans now get the opportunity to buy year-round a unique piece of football experience. FIFA and its various World Cup events become part and parcel of people’s everyday lives in the official store which is only the first of many more to follow.”
