Having acquired Le Tigre in September last year, American footwear, handbag, and accessories company Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. has announced that it is to launch the brand at JCPenney in spring 2008 and that it has appointed the brand’s former chief executive, Ryan O'Sullivan, as divisional president of its new Le Tigre Division. It has also retained the existing Le Tigre design team.

Commenting on his new role Mr O'Sullivan said: "My team and I are delighted to be joining forces with Kenneth Cole and I am excited to leverage the Le Tigre brand through major new accounts and partners, both in the United States and internationally.”

The company also plans to expand the Le Tigre portfolio to include footwear and accessories.
