ITGLWF approves as adidas goes transparent

The International Textile, Garment and Leather Workers’ Federation (ITGLWF) has welcomed German sportswear and footwear company adidas’ decision to make its global supplier list available to the public and provide greater supply chain transparency.
General secretary of ITGLWF, Neil Kearney, commented: “Adidas has joined a growing list of clothing and shoe brands which recognise that supply chains transparency is an essential ingredient in corporate social accountability.”
