The Walking Company hopes to cash in on shearling styles
American comfort footwear and customised insole retailer The Walking Company is hoping to cash in on the popularity of shearling-lined products, such as Ugg boots, with the introduction of a new range of shearling-lined orthotics designed by Aertex.
The new orthotics feature a contoured arch support and cupped rear-foot design to provide support and stability to many styles of footwear, including Ugg products, as well as improving balance and alignment while wicking away moisture from the feet.
"Everyone benefits from proper support in their footwear and we are pleased to offer a customised shearling-lined insole that enhances the comfort of popular shearling-lined products," said Lee Cox, senior vice-president of Retail. "The new shearling-lined orthotic design not only benefits our Ugg customers by enhancing their comfort, support, and stability, but can also add a supportive shearling-lined footbed to many of the other styles of shoes we carry."
