Bayer raises prices for PU raw materials
Germany’s Bayer MaterialScience will raise prices for two of its polyurethane raw materials in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, effective January 1, or as contracts allow. Prices for polyether polyols will be increased by €0.10/kg and toluene diisocyanate (TDI) will rise by €0.20/kg.
The company cited a continuing tight supply and demand situation for these products and their precursors as the reason for the increases.
