Senior manager leaves ECCO

After four years in his current role, Mikael Thinghuus, chief operating officer at Danish footwear manufacturer ECCO has resigned and plans to leave the company at the end of the year.
He will be replaced by senior vice-president, Sales and Retail, Flemming Nielsen, who has worked at ECCO for 17 years.
Meanwhile, the company’s board has promoted chief counsel Gerd Rahbek-Clemmensen to senior vice-president with the responsibility for a new co-ordinating Management Secretariat. She will also maintain overall responsibility for the Legal Department.
