Kraton Polymers raises prices
Due to continued cost increases associated with energy, raw material, packaging, and transportation, American engineered polymer company and producer of styrenic block copolymers (SBCs) Kraton Polymers LLC will raise its prices for all polymers and compounds by US$220/mt or €150/mt, effective January 1.
Commenting on the global increase Kevin Fogarty, executive vice-president, said, "We need to restore margins to acceptable levels to allow Kraton to continue to offer the level of service and innovation our customers have come to expect."
Kraton produces polymers for a wide range of applications including footwear products, adhesives, coatings, and consumer and personal care products.
