New PolyJet Matrix modelling technology launched

Israel’s Objet Geometries Ltd., has launched new patent-pending technology that is claimed to be the first method that enables simultaneous jetting of different types of model materials. According to the company its new PolyJet Matrix technology “opens up virtually unlimited opportunities for closely emulating the look, feel and function of final products”.

The technology works by jetting two distinct Objet FullCure model materials in preset combinations, whilst controlling every nozzle in each print head to enable combinations of model materials to be jetted from designated nozzles according to location and model type thus providing the foundation for 3-D printing systems that can print parts and assemblies made of several materials with different mechanical and physical properties.

Objet Geometries develops and manufactures ultra-thin-layer, high-resolution three-dimensional printing solutions for rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing.
