Salomon president leaves in Amer reorganisation
Finland-based outdoor footwear and sports equipment company Amer Sports has announced significant business and management changes as part of the reorganisation of its Winter and Outdoor business.
Under the new plan Salomon and Atomic will come together under the common leadership of Michael Schineis, the current President of Atomic, whilst the current president of Salomon, Jean-Luc Diard, will leave the company.
At its Sports Apparel and Footwear business, a new entity consisting of the Salomon and Arc'teryx brands has been formed which will now be led by general manager Jean-Marc Pambet, who is currently general manager of Salomon Apparel and Footwear.
Bernard Millaud will continue as general manager of Mavic at the company’s Cycling business.
