According to the latest figures released by the country’s General Statistics Office Vietnam’s leather footwear industry is continuing to surge as export figures up to October showed sustained double-digit growth in the sector.

During the first ten months of this year leather footwear exports increased 11.25% to reach $3.194 billion, up from $2.871 billion in the same period last year, whilst in October alone exports grew a massive $30 million to reach $280 million, up from $250 million in October 2006.
