Action sports related footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories retailer Zumiez Inc. has posted a comparable store sales increase of 5.1% for the four-week period ended November 3 compared with a 15.9% ales increase in the year-ago period. Net sales for the four-week period increased 24.6% to $24.7 million compared with $19.9 million in the prior-year period.

The company is taking a more conservative outlook for the remainder of 2007 due to the reliance on seasonal merchandise in the fourth quarter.
