Israeli retailer Shufersal Ltd. has signed a multi-year license agreement with US-based Cherokee Inc which will allow it to sell footwear, clothing and accessories under the Cherokee brand.

CEO of Shufersal, Effie Rosenhaus, believes it will be received by the Israeli consumer who ”looks for branded products and demands quality, comfort and added value.”

The brand is now licensed in over 28 countries and over 4000 locations. It is currently exploring new partnerships in major markets including Russia, Spain, Germany, France, Japan and Australia.

Shufersal operates 226 stores throughout Israel and employs approximately 10,000 people.
