New license agreements for Iconix

New York-based footwear and apparel company Iconix Brand Group Inc. has signed four separate license agreements for its London Fog, Op, Rampage, Joe Boxer and Danskin brands.

The company, which owns and licenses brands such as Candie's and Joe Boxer, has signed a deal with Beijing-based company New Foundations giving New Foundations a multi-year license to produce and distribute London Fog apparel, accessories and products in China. Meanwhile, New Horizons is to open more than 100 London Fog stores and in-store shops in China.

Iconix has also signed an agreement with Mint Apparel under which Mint will distribute Op apparel, accessories and products across Europe. A third agreement allows The Style Company to open 35 stand-alone retail stores for Rampage, Op and Joe Boxer in the Middle East.

An agreement with Grupo Zipora for the manufacturing and distribution of Danskin items in Mexico has been signed, and the company has also expanded its license agreement with Pacific Brands Ltd., which will open ten Mossimo stores in Australia in the next few years.
