Staff changes at Neiman Marcus

A number of staffing changes have been announced at fashion footwear and apparel group Neiman Marcus.

President, chief executive officer of Neiman Marcus Stores, Karen Katz, is to become an executive officer of The Neiman Marcus Group with additional responsibility for strategy, business development and marketing. She will also become executive vice president of the group.

The group’s senior vice president, chief financial officer has been promoted to executive vice president, chief financial officer, assuming additional responsibility for information services.

Both Ms Katz and Mr Skinner will continue to report to president and chief executive officer Burton Tansky and, alongside him, will become a part of a new integral group called the office of the chairman, which will be responsible for leading the overall strategic direction of the organisation and setting policy.
