Indonesia grows Europe exports
30/10/2007
Reports indicate that exports of Indonesian goods to Europe will rise by 10-12% this year, despite currency effects. Its main target destinations in Europe are Germany, France, the UK and the Netherlands.
Manufactured goods may take longer to show rapid growth, according to trade minister, Mari Elka Pangestu. However, she predicts that there is plenty of scope for production to increase, particularly now that anti-dumping duties have been imposed upon Chinese and Vietnamese shoe exports.
